We want to invite you to a Real Operation Event at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (ZUUU) in beautiful Sichuan to "celebrating IVAO 10 years of As Real As it Gets"

ZUUU General Information:
(IATA: CTU, ICAO: ZUUU)
RWYs: 02(CAT II) and 20
SIDs: 8 SIDs for RWY 02 and 6 SIDs for RWE 20
STARs: 3 STAR for RWY 02 and 4 STAR for RWY 20
TL: 3600m
TA: 3000m (3300m for QNH=1031, 2700 for QNH=979)

RWY 02 approved for CAT II operations. Arriving Aircraft shall normally break away from RWY by rapid exit TWY H or J. Aircraft landing on RWY 02 shall break away from RWY by rapid exit TWY H as soon as possible.

Departure aircraft normally use TWY B and TWY A. Arriving Aircraft normally use TWY A. TWYs shall be given by ATC.

When “Contact APP immediately after take-off” is requested in ATC clearance, Pilot shall leave TWR frequency without radiotelephony instruction from controller as soon as airborne and contact the assigned frequency, otherwise contact APP when climb to 2140’ (650m).

Climatological Information:
There're many days of low visibility in winter, and fog is the common meteorologic phenomena in season (about 45% of total fog days in year). There's few amount of precipitation, while the temperature is not low. The aviation activities are significantly impacted by the winter fog.
